| The Urban SM70 Branch Logger
is powered by a 4-stroke single-cylinder air-cooled OHV petrol engine with
a belt-drive connecting it to the chipping mechanism. |
|||
| The logs produced are 60-130mm
in length and fall into a bag attached to the machine. The bags are 60 x
85cm in size. 50 bags are supplied with each machine and additional bags are available. |
|||
| The chipper hopper is
sufficiently long to ensure the safety of the operator and has a
horizontal feed for more reliable administration of branches at lower speeds. The SM70 runs at about half the speed of the tractor-mounted TR70. |
